The college started functioning in the year 2002 under The Thrissur Educational Trust founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur. The college is approved by AICTE and offers six UG courses. The college campus is spread over a lush green area of 30 acres of land at Jyothi Hills. It is located on the Thrissur-Ottappalam state highway. The college is 4kms away from Shornur railway station and 28 Kms from Thrissur.
